Hey there,

These days, I like to spend my free times watching Korean TV shows. These are some of the TV shows that I watch. Which one is your favorite? Enjoy : D

1. Runningman (런닝맨)

♥This TV show airs on Sundays. 7 permanent members are Yoo Jae Seok, Ji Seok Jin, Haha, Gary, Lee Kwangsoo, Song Ji Hyo, and Kim Jong Kook. Running man was originally about taking member’s name tags off their back and getting them out, but these days, contents got really creative. Guests (Kpop artists/celebrities/comedians) appear almost every episodes. In their most recent episode, they were in Dubai. In another episodes, they did food missions.

2. Laws of the Jungle (정글의 법칙)

♥This TV show airs on Fridays. Members, with their leader, Kim Byung Man, go to different places around the world, especially jungles, deserts, and rivers/lakes. They have to survive in wilderness. They build their own house by cutting trees, find their food, and visit some of the tribes living there.

3. Produce 101 (프로듀스 101)

♥This TV show airs on Fridays. 101 trainees from 46 different entertainments compete to debut and become part of a unit girl group. Only 11 trainees can get the spots, and they are ranked A to F based on their skills. They also do team missions, and you get to vote for your favorite trainee. Jeon Somi from JYP entertainment (appeared in TV show “Sixteen”), Kim Se Jeong from Jellyfish entertainment, and Choi Yoo Jeong from Fantagio entertainment are the most popular ones among the others in Korea.

♥Their song, “Pick Me”, also became popular. The first time you hear it, you might think it’s weird, but this song is really addictive.

5. Tasty Road (테이스티 로드)

♥This TV show airs on Saturdays. Girl’s Day’s Yura and Kim Min Jeong travel around Korea and visit famous restaurants/cafes. They eat the menu there and explain how it tastes like.

6. Take Care of My Refrigerator (냉장고를 부탁해)

♥This TV show airs on Mondays. 2 MCs and 11 chefs greet 2 guests’ fridge and the chefs take ingredients from the fridge to cook a yummy dish in 15 minutes.

How to Heal Broken Bones Fast

Hey there,

I recently broke my finger…….and although it “just” seems like a finger, things became 10 times harder. Daily activities that took me like 30 seconds to accomplish now takes me 5 minutes. I really wanted to recover as fast as possible, so although I knew time would eventually heal everything, I researched about some tips to help me out. This post is all about those “tips”.

P.S. These are just tips, to help the bones heal faster. These are mainly helpful for fractures.

1. Stop Smoking

♥Blood flow/circulation is important to bone recoveries because it carries necessary nutrients and nutrients to the broken bones, and smoking affects this process. Patients who smoke have a slower recovery than non-smokers.

2. Increase Calorie Intake (Provide sufficient energy for your body)

♥You may think this sounds ridiculous. But it is true that the healing process requires a lot of energy. An adult normally requires around 2,500 calories per day, but a person with severe bone fractures may need up to 6,000 calories in a day! This doesn’t mean you should eat 5 cakes (not slices, but whole cakes); you should fill your diet with healthy food.

3. Healthy Food! (Calcium, Protein, Vitamin)

  • Calcium is essential to bone growth and health, but don’t eat too much…
  • Calcium absorption is dependent on vitamin D, so for the best fracture healing, both calcium and vitamin D should be consumed in abundance every day.
  • Vitamin C is essential for bone collagen matrix. It’s proven that higher intake of vitamin C accelerates fracture healing and develops stronger bone repair.
  • Bones are made up of “living” protein, and lack of protein will result a soft bone callus rather than the rigid ones necessary for bone strength.

Fill your diet with these healthy food:

4. Exercise

♥Again, you might be surprised that you should exercise when you have an injury. The healing process requires good blood circulation, and a satisfactory flow of nutrient replenishing blood to the fracture area. However, do not put stress on the fracture. In other words, if you have a fracture on your leg, do not run. But, if you have a finger fracture like me, you add jog, walk, or run.

5. Massage/Therapy

♥This is optional I think, but AFTER the bone is healed and you have a hard time doing a full range motion, try massaging it.

Korean Instant Noodles/Ramen Top 10

large-3

Hey there,

Sorry for not posting so long! I was injured, so I couldn’t blog for a long time 😦

Anyways,  I decided to write a post about Korea’s instant noodles! Most Koreans love instant noodles, including myself. Through a research, it was proven that each Korean eats about 74 instant noodles per year! That’s like eating it at least once a week. The instant noodles listed in this post were voted by Koreans. These were also introduced in Korean TV show called “Wednesday Food Talk”. Which one do you personally like? I hope you guys enjoy them 🙂

1. Paldo Bibim-myun (팔도비빔면)

♥It is a bit spicy, and you can enjoy this noodle even more if you add sesame oil and black sesame seeds. (Some people put cucumber on top, too)

2. Buldak Bokkeum-myun (불닭볶음면)

♥This is so spicy!! If you don’t like spicy stuff, don’t use the whole pack of sauce.. This ramyun is popular especially among students. Some of them eat this to get rid of their stress. You can add an egg, a slice of cheese, sesame seeds, and seaweed to add more flavour.

3. Shin Ramyun Cup Noodles (컵라면)

4. Jin Ramyun: Spicy Flavour (진라면 매운맛)

♥There’s also less spicy flavour, written in blue print, but people like this spicy flavour better.

5. Yukgejang Ramyun (육개장 라면)

♥This ramyun is really good! I like the little toppings >< Koreans liked this ramyun since 1982.

6. Samyang Ramyun (삼양라면)

♥Eat this ramyun with kimchi 🙂

7. Neoguri Ramyun (너구리)

♥This ramyun got its name from tanuki udon. I personally like this one ><

8. Ansungtangmyun (안성탕면)

♥You can add scallion and egg to add more flavour. This ramyun also tastes well if you eat it without cooking it. Just break it into bits and sprinkle the powder sauce on top.

9. Jjapaghetti (짜파게티)

♥This is like instant black bean noodles. You can add cheese, half-cooked egg, sesame seeds, and seaweed on top.

10. Shin Ramyun (신라면)

♥This ramyun has been ranked the first for 25 years. It is spicy, but not as much as buldakbokkeum myun. It got its name from Chunho Shin, the CEO of its brand “Nongshim”.
